About the role

War Child is looking for a:Interim - Recruitment Officer Who supports the successful coordination of recruitment activities and contributes to a positive candidate experience

The Recruitment Officer will provide recruitment coordination and administrative support across War Child Alliance for a period of six months. The role will support the Talent Acquisition Specialist, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders in delivering recruitment processes in a timely, organised, inclusive, and candidate-focused manner.The role will provide additional capacity to support recruitment activities across the WCAF and help ensure vacancies progress efficiently throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

What you will do

• Support the coordination of recruitment processes across all assigned vacancies. 
• Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers with day-to-day recruitment activities and follow-up. 
• Support the drafting, preparation, and publication of job advertisements and recruitment materials. 
• Assist with sourcing, candidate screening, and Longlisting activities. 
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, and candidate communications. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment information in HRIS (Personio) and other recruitment tools. 
• Prepare and maintain recruitment documentation and records. 
• Follow up with hiring managers and interview panels to ensure recruitment activities progress according to agreed timelines. 
• Provide timely and professional communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process. 

 EXPECTED OUTPUTS / DELIVERABLESDuring the six-month assignment, the Recruitment Officer will:

• Provide consistent recruitment coordination support across active vacancies. 
• Ensure recruitment activities and candidate information are accurately recorded and maintained. 
• Support timely scheduling and coordination of interviews and assessments. 
• Maintain effective communication and follow-up with candidates and recruitment stakeholders. 
• Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources unit in managing recruitment workload and priorities. 
• Contribute to a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Your profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, HR, administration, or a related area is desirable. 
• Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities. 
• Good attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders. 
• Basic understanding of recruitment processes and the hiring lifecycle. 
• Experience using recruitment systems, applicant tracking systems, or other HR systems is desirable. 
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.

• Type of Contract : Local contract with salary and secondary labour conditions based on the in-country salary scale, local T&C's will apply.
