A place to make a difference:

In this Full-time temporary position. You’ll work as a part of our Bail Response Program team in Mount Isa to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.

You will make a difference by:

  • Provision of quality service delivery
  • Provide positive healthy relationships and Engagement with young people and families
  • Facilitate positive Stakeholder relationship management to support young people.
  • Case planning, Monitoring and evaluation of goal setting outcomes

Your deep expertise in you will support young people meet bail conditions, avoid deeper involvement in the justice system and re-engage with work or learning. You will ensure the voices of children and young people are heard, coordinate wraparound services, and help families access the resources and opportunities needed to promote long-term wellbeing, community connection, education, and employment pathways will be invaluable.

This role requires:

  • Develop case management plans for clients, using a strength-based trauma-informed approach
  • Facilitate activities designed to increase young people’s social and emotional wellbeing, life skills and education attainment
  • Provide timely referrals and promote/facilitate access to other services
  • Implement behavioral management strategies in line with Save the Children’s youth work principles and as directed by the Team Leader
