Mission and objectives
Youth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.Context
UNDP Youth Moonshot for Asia and the Pacific is a bold regional initiative aimed at empowering young people through leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship across 30 countries. YDEEP, sitting under the Digital Skills and AI Readiness focus area of Youth Moonshot, is a programme supported by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) that equips young people with digital skills and AI readiness to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential. Within its first year of implementation, YDEEP has already reached over 5,500 young people across programme components, in collaboration with government ministries, private sector partners, universities, and civil society. This impact video will tell that story, connecting YDEEP's on-the-ground results to the Youth Moonshot's larger regional vision and making a compelling case for continued investment and partnership. The video editor will work remotely and coordinate directly with the YDEEP communications team. All raw materials, briefs, and feedback will be provided digitally.Task Description
