We are seeking an Operations and Business Development Officer to join our Project and Proposal Operations team, with anticipated support for the Business Development team. This early-career opportunity is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, responsive individual who is eager to build experience in a fast-paced consulting environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing priorities with minimal supervision, and ideally be willing to work on a Central European Time (CET) schedule to support collaboration across global teams and stakeholders. This coordination-focused role will support proposal operations and business development activities through proposal follow-up, status reporting, communication monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration across proposal operations and business development activities. The position contributes to the efficient management of proposal pipelines, client communications, and operational processes that support the organization's growth objectives. The Operations and Business Development Officer will report directly to the Vice President, Health Solutions Project & Proposal Office What You'll DoMonitor proposal status in business systems, support proposal follow-up activities, and help maintain accurate pipeline information.Coordinate timely action on incoming Requests for Proposals by helping route information, notify appropriate teams, and support proposal kickoff activities.Monitor external website requests, identify the appropriate teams for follow-up, and coordinate client outreach communications.Monitor the client feedback system and route feedback to appropriate teams to support timely follow-up and continuous improvement.Generate and distribute daily status reports for relevant business development and proposal activities.Support incoming Requests for Information by assisting with tracking, coordination, and follow-up.Assist the Business Development and Proposal Development teams with ad hoc coordination, tracking, and administrative requests.Perform additional tracking, reporting, and administrative duties as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesAs the role develops, responsibilities may expand to include process improvement and tool support activities, such as:Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and workflows.Support enhancements to Excel tools, trackers, and templates.Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insights. What You'll NeedMasters degree and 1 years of experience or Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience in business, communications, health sciences, life sciences, or a related field.Relevant internship, administrative support, operations, project coordination, business development, proposal support, or consulting experience preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities.Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment and maintaining accuracy while balancing multiple tasks

Qualification

Masters degree and 1 years of experience or Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience in business, communications, health sciences, life sciences, or a related field.Relevant internship, administrative support, operations, project coordination, business development, proposal support, or consulting experience preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities.Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment and maintaining accuracy while balancing multiple tasks
