Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer (MEAL Officer) for its Area-Based Allocation (ABA) project implemented in Khersonska oblast – however, the position is based in Mykolaiv.
About the job
Under the management of the Area Programme Manager (ABA) and technical supervision from the ABA MEAL/AAP Specialist, the MEAL Officer will support the implementation of standardized MEAL processes across the Area-Based Approach (ABA) Consortium, with a particular focus on strengthening the quality and consistency of subgrantee programming. The role will contribute to ensuring that partners' MEAL systems, tools and reporting comply with consortium and donor requirements while supporting partners through technical guidance and capacity development. The MEAL Officer will contribute to monitoring program quality, validating partner deliverables, strengthening evidence-based programming, and ensuring high-quality reporting and accountability throughout the implementation of consortium activities.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for employees on national contracts; starting from EUR 2025 gross per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
