This position is located within the Solutions Unit with a focus on advancing SEforALL’s in-country energy efficiency activities under Mission Efficiency. SEforALL supports the development of energy efficiency action plans, large-scale initiatives, and the utilization of demand-side management programs and national and sub-national activities aimed at doubling energy efficiency in various countries, including India. The Consultant shall provide technical, analytical, and coordination support to SEforALL in support of these activities.
The role serves as a technical resource to support SEforALL’s expanding activities on energy efficiency in India, including supporting the advancement of national and state-level initiatives under the Mission Efficiency program. Reporting to the Senior Officer, India and Mission Efficiency the Energy Officer, India and Mission Efficiency will support the design and delivery of energy efficiency action plans, facilitate government engagement, and coordinate implementation of programs such as demand flexibility, appliance replacement program, ESCO projects, shared cooling infrastructure, building efficiency interventions. The incumbent will also contribute to developing data and analytics, preparing policy and technical briefs, and supporting resource mobilization to scale energy efficiency investments. This role is critical to driving India’s commitment to doubling energy efficiency.
