As a highly vulnerable Small Island Developing State, Vanuatu faces significant climate change impacts that threaten its sustainability and development. To help Vanuatu enhance its resilience, Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) supports the Government of Vanuatu in implementing projects on climate resilience and mitigation.
GGGI is seeking a Multi-Project Finance and Corporate Services (FCS) Individal Consultant to support the implementation of multiple projects in Vanuatu, including REnew Pacific, NDC Partnership (NDCP) and the Low Emissions Climate Resilient Development (LECRD) projects in Vanuatu.
The Multi-Project FCS Individual Consultant ensures consistent quality across specific project/s and/or output delivery. The Associate is responsible for assisting multiple projects to integrate and deliver enabling services pertaining to administrative, travel, conference, procurement, and acquisitions management for the GGGI office based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. S/he will carry out operative processes such as financial monitoring and reporting to donors, processing and delivery of procurement contracts, tracking of purchase orders, supporting recruitment and human resources process, IT asset oversight, among others. The role involves maintaining effective project reporting and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
The consultant implements the rules, guidelines, entitlements, and offers solutions to issues related to day-to-day office operations. Promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with GGGI rules and regulations. This position will report directly to the Project Manager and Project Officer of the REnew project and Project Manager of the NDCP and LECRD projects.
The Individual consultant is expected to provide comprehensive operational, administrative, and coordination support across finance, human resources, procurement, and logistics to ensure effective delivery of GGGI’s programs in Vanuatu. The role upholds process integrity and compliance with GGGI policies, procedures, and donor requirements, while promoting a client‑oriented and solutions‑focused approach.
The main high‑level deliverables are outlined below; however, specific tasks will be assigned by the Project Managers and Project Officer for each project in accordance with operational needs.
As full consideration for the services performed by the FCS Consultant under this TOR, GGGI will pay a daily rate of USD 102 (One hundred and two USD). The Consultant will be engaged for 20 working days per month for approximately 10‑month period, aligned with the project timelines. The Consultant will be based within the project management unit at NGEF or DoWR.
At the end of each month, the Consultant will complete and submit a timesheet detailing the tasks and outputs delivered. The monthly timesheet will be reviewed and approved by the respective Project Managers before submission to Finance for payment processing.
