About the Job:
DRC is seeking an expert who will support in the strategic positioning of DRC in Site Management and Coordination, Shelter, and WASH programming. The Coordinator will further serve as the technical expert who leads in collaborative Shelter and Site Management and Coordination, WASH & infrastructure project design (including proposal writing, and budgeting); external coordination; and follow up and support to local partner implementation. It will be a fast-paced environment with field travel to partner implementation locations expected. This role has a country focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the country. The role contributes to the development of country strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks.
The role is expected to expand DRCs programming towards Site Management and Coordination (SMC), Shelter and WASH programming. The SWI Coordinator is expected to work closely with other Technical Coordinators specifically integrating Protection, Economic Recovery, and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding sectors.
