Unit Context:

Digital Solutions (ITSDS)  

The Digital Solutions team delivers modern productivity, collaboration, and endpoint solutions to over 30,000 users. We support Microsoft 365, Power Platform, WebEx, and AI tools like Copilot, Claude, Google Gemini, and Grammarly, while engineering, deploying, and supporting Windows Endpoints. We are a collaborative, customer-focused team committed to solving problems with reliable, impactful technology.
 
Duties and accountabilities: 

Role Purpose: 

This is a hands-on role at the heart of modernizing enterprise applications and driving the adoption of low-code, automation, and AI-driven solutions - designing data models, crafting API integrations, and shipping production-ready solutions as part of our Power Platform team.

You will play a hands-on role serve as a technical leader responsible for architecting, building, and governing enterprise-grade low-code, AI, and custom application solutions. You will leverage Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Azure services, React, .NET, and enterprise data platforms to deliver scalable and secure business solutions. The role requires deep expertise in solution architecture, integrations, DevOps, data engineering, and platform governance, alongside mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Solution Architecture & Development: Design and develop enterprise-scale solutions and establish reusable architecture patterns across Power Platform, Azure, and custom-built applications - balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical design reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor both developers and citizen developers to raise the quality bar across the team.
• Enterprise Data & Analytics: Design and deliver data integration solutions across Databricks, Python, ETL pipelines, custom connectors, and enterprise data platforms - turning raw data into reliable, actionable outputs.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Develop and oversee complex solutions leveraging Power Platform, React, .NET, Azure Functions, modern web technologies and DevOps. Build and oversee end-to-end solutions spanning Power Platform, React, .NET, Azure Functions, modern web technologies ad and DevOps practices.
• Platform Strategy & Reliability: Own platform scalability, resilience, and performance - driving continuous modernization and ensuring solutions are built to last.

Selection Criteria

Education and Experience:  

• Master's degree with 5 years or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    
  Core Competencies:  
• Low-Code & AI Mindset: Ability to evaluate when to use low-code, AI-enabled automation, or custom-code approaches to solve business problems effectively.
• Automation & Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and building automated workflows, event-driven integrations, and APIs across Power Platform, Azure, and enterprise systems.
• Analytical Thinking: Break down complex business problems, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and troubleshoot across integrations, data pipelines, and performance bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working across multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Deliver reliable, well-tested, and well-documented solutions with a high standard of quality and minimal rework.
• Growth Orientation: Proactively builds skills, stays current with emerging technologies, and continuously looks for better ways to solve problems.
   
  Recommended Certifications:  
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate / Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
