Mission and objectives
Mission The Chongqing Renewable Energy Society (CQRES) is dedicated to advancing the research, development, and deployment of renewable and clean energy technologies in southwest China. CQRES serves as a bridge between government, industry, research institutions, and local communities, promoting sustainable energy practices and contributing to China's national energy transition goals. Objectives 1. Advance clean energy — Promote research and deployment of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technologies through conferences, seminars, and technology exchange programmes. 2. Provide technical services — Deliver energy audits, enterprise advisory services, and decision-support for parks, energy-consuming enterprises, and government bodies. 3. Host international platforms — Organize cross-border forums including the China (Chongqing) ASEAN Clean Forum and the Chongqing International Volunteer Festival, facilitating global exchange on climate action and sustainable energy. 4. Build international partnerships — Maintain cooperation with ESCAP, ADB, WWF, and other international organizations, as well as foreign research institutions and NGOs in climate and energy fields. 5. Serve a growing network — Connect and support 336 members including energy producers, major energy users, research institutes, energy-saving service providers, and government departments across the clean energy ecosystem.@Context
Task Description
We are seeking 2 dedicated Online Volunteers to support post-event international liaison, documentation, and follow-up communication for the Youth Scientists Salon (Singularity Meeting) under the 2026 Mountain Green Sustainable Development International Cooperation Forum. The volunteers will help organizers maintain online communication with international participants, youth representatives, invited speakers, and partner organizations following the conclusion of the activity. The assignment will focus on bilingual communication support, participant information organization, guest reference materials, feedback collection, documentation of engagement outcomes, and follow-up coordination. The two volunteers will work together to support post-event online liaison, documentation, and follow-up communication with international guests, youth representatives, and partner organizations involved in the Youth Scientists Salon. Tasks include: • Organize existing participant information, contact details, institutional affiliations, participation records, and follow-up status for invited international guests and youth representatives. • Prepare English or bilingual thank-you messages, feedback requests, follow-up notices, and future engagement messages under the guidance of CRES. • Support communication with selected youth representatives regarding activity feedback, follow-up exchanges, future cooperation interests, and any outstanding questions arising from the activity. • Help organize guest reference materials, including short participant profiles, key discussion topics, records of participant contributions, and communication notes for organizers. • Organize follow-up communication after the activity, including thank-you messages, feedback collection, responses from participants, and contact summaries. • Compile and categorize feedback received from international guests, speakers, youth representatives, and partner organizations. • Support the preparation of brief post-event documentation, including summaries of key discussion themes, participant engagement, and potential follow-up actions. • Prepare a short liaison summary highlighting participant engagement, pending follow-up issues, and recommendations for future international youth engagement activities.Competencies and values
