    Introduction

    Description of the Assignment: UNDP Nigeria seeks to engage a National Individual Consultant to undertake a comprehensive technical, institutional, and infrastructure assessment and develop a costed implementation roadmap for the operationalization of the National Situation Room at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Nigeria.

    Period of assignment/services: The assignment is for 15 working days, with the duty station in Abuja, Nigeria, including possible remote work and field visits. Candidates are expected to have an advanced degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Disaster Risk Management, or a related field, with 7–10 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience in early warning systems, situation room design, IT infrastructure planning and costing.

    Interested applicants are required to submit a Technical Proposal, updated CV, Financial Proposal, and supporting documents. The selection will be conducted using the Quality-Based Selection under Fixed Budget (QBFBS) methodology, with emphasis on technical quality.

    Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

    Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
