    Introduction

    Country: Bangladesh

    Description of the Assignment: The overall objective of the assignment is to develop a high-quality and government-compliant Development Project Proposal (DPP) for scaling up the “Local Government Initiative on Climate Change (LoGIC II)”, incorporating lessons learned from the previous phase, national priorities, and relevant climate change and local government policy frameworks. The specific objectives are to:

    • Review existing LoGIC project documents, achievements, lessons learned, evaluations, assessments, and relevant policy and planning frameworks;
    • Conduct consultations with relevant government institutions, UNDP, UNCDF, and other key stakeholders;
    • Develop the overall DPP according to the prescribed template of GoB using the information of the project proposal.
    • Prepare the required DPP, including all relevant annexes, cost estimates, implementation arrangements, and supporting documents, in line with the Government of Bangladesh requirements;
    • Facilitate review and validation of the draft DPP and incorporate comments and recommendations from UNDP, UNCDF, LGD, Planning Commission, and other relevant stakeholders.

    Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 20 working days over 2 months, from October to Mid-December 2026.

    The Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
