Project Assistant (Cultural Mediation)

• High School Diploma with three years of relevant professional experience; 

or

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution with one year of relevant working experience.

• Experience in clerical or administrative support functions such as filing, record-keeping, or data entry. 
• Experience in cultural mediation particularly with migrants or vulnerable groups, is an advantage.
• Previous experience providing support to community-based initiatives, international organizations, NGOs and/or EU Agencies would be an asset.

• Ability to provide clear and impartial cultural mediation between Italian and migrants’ mother tongues.
• Good organizational skills for handling clerical tasks including documentation and logistical support.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Driving licence is required.

For this position, fluency in Italian and mother tongue in Urdu or Hindi is required (oral and written).
