The Grants Officer will be based in Niamey, Niger, and will be responsible for ensuring the effective technical and financial management of the programme’s sub-grants. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and will be supported by the country team and IDLO Headquarters (HQ) in Rome, Italy.
The Grants Officer shall report to the Finance Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Field Programme Manager and shall work in close collaboration with the Programme Development Unit (PDU), Monitoring and Reporting Unit (MRU), and Finance Unit based at HQ.
The Grants Officer will be responsible for the following:
1) Sub-grant governance
2) Sub-grant management coordination
3) Sub-grant monitoring, reporting and closure

For this locally recruited position IDLO shall offer the selected candidate an Affiliate contract of 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to performance and availability of funding.
IDLO shall also offer a yearly basic salary of XOF 13 648 001, medical insurance, and leave entitlements, in accordance with IDLO Employee Regulations and Rules.
This local position is open to candidates who are nationals of the duty station or with permanent resident status or other legal authorization permitting them to work in the duty station. An employee subject to local recruitment shall not be eligible for allowances or benefits that are exclusively applicable to international employees.
