The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.
GGGI’s programme in Kenya and Ethiopia supports inclusive green growth by advancing biodiversity conservation and the development of a sustainable bioeconomy across key economic sectors. Through close collaboration with national stakeholders, the private sector, civil society, and development partners, GGGI supports both countries in integrating biodiversity considerations into economic planning, investment decisions, and business practices, in line with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and national biodiversity priorities, including the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP).
