Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a global health non-profit organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Founded in 1971 by Dr Ronald O’Connor, it works with governments, the private sector, civil society and faith-based organizations in low- and middle-income countries and fragile states to strengthen health systems, with technical work in health financing, pharmaceutical and supply chain management, HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, and women’s and adolescents’ health. MSH has worked in more than 150 countries.
MSH employs more than 450 people across more than 15 countries. Vacancies are published on its careers site, which uses the Workday platform, and include full-time positions at headquarters and in country offices as well as consultancies and internships. MSH states that it never charges fees during recruitment and that genuine messages come only from msh.org addresses.
Roles at MSH cover health systems strengthening, health financing, pharmaceutical and supply chain management, primary health care and programmes on HIV, tuberculosis and malaria, alongside finance, operations and project management functions. Staff are based at the Arlington headquarters and in country offices, largely in Africa, working with ministries of health and local partners on public health programmes.
