JOB DESCRIPTION  (See link to the full job description in the blue box)

  • A Bachelor’s level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years' post-related experience. Alternatively, the lack of a Bachelor’s level qualification may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to the Agency, and include at least 10 years' extensive and progressive experience in duties related to the function of the post. 
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management abilities so as to successfully work as a member or leader of multi-national/multi-disciplinary team (including consultants), dealing with complex, interrelated technical issues. 
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT/Information Systems (IS) projects across full lifecycle. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2®). 
  • Ability to relate the technology and business requirements, while meeting high security and availability requirement. 
  • Sound and broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications, including integration and interoperability, EDI, application architectures, and network and system security, with the ability to interface effectively with technical experts. 
  • Excellent knowledge and proven practical experience of software development standards and methods.Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Microsoft Azure Test Plans). 
  • International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®) Tester Foundation level certification, preferably ISTQB® Advanced Level Tester Manager certification or equivalent. 
  • Knowledge and practical background in military logistics, finance and procurement operations.
  • NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 674.26, tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.
