The IRC is seeking a Digital Community Liaison for Settle In, a program providing information and support for newcomers in multiple languages through its website (SettleInUS.org), mobile app, and social media platforms. More information on Settle In can be found on https://www.settleinus.org.
The Digital Community Liaison will support the Settle In Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SettleInUS), which is available in Dari, Pashto, Spanish, Haitian-Creole, and English. Digital Community Liaisons interact with newcomers in the United States on social media primarily through private messaging and social media post comments. They help users navigate information on Settle In platforms, clarify and share information, support live events, and lend a friendly, empathetic ear. This position reports to Settle In’s Senior Digital Community Officer.

Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken Dari, Pashto, and English.
Working Environment: This position is a remote working environment. Required domestic travel up to 20%.
Compensation: (Pay Rate: $28 - $34/hr). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
