Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator (Community Stabilisation Programme), and in close coordination with relevant governmental counterparts, municipal authorities, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders, the Project Associate – Field Coordination will be responsible for supporting the implementation and field-level coordination of the EU for Communities programme within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR).
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, Community Development, Project Management, Economics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience; or
High School diploma with five years of relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in supporting the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of community development, community stabilization, humanitarian, or development projects;
Experience working with local authorities, community representatives, civil society organizations, international organizations, and other stakeholders;
Experience conducting field visits, beneficiary consultations, community outreach, awareness-raising, and stakeholder engagement activities;
Experience assessing community or beneficiary needs and supporting the design and implementation of project interventions;
Experience in project monitoring, data collection, reporting, and maintaining programme records and databases; and
Experience supporting livelihood, entrepreneurship, small business development, or economic empowerment initiatives is an advantage.

Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).
REQUIRED
For this position, fluency in English, Albanian and Serbian is required (oral and written).
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
