Project Officer implements activities of the EU-funded initiative Partnerships for Return Preparedness and Reintegration in Ukraine (PREPARE-UA).
Implemented by ICMPD, in close cooperation and coordination with the EU Member States and Schengen Associated Countries, PREPARE -UA project aims to establish a coordinated operational model that connects information and counselling services in participating Member States and Schengen Associated Countries with employment opportunities, municipal support systems and reintegration services in Ukraine. The proposed initiative is based on the principles of voluntariness, informed choice and dignity, while recognising that return preparedness must begin well before any eventual transition out of temporary protection.
The Project Officer works under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager, in close coordination with other team members and the project Secretariat, located in the Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Vienna, Austria.
For this post understanding of current displacement context, recovery, reconstruction and reintegration of displaced people is required. Project Officer position is being established in Lviv, Ukraine, frequent travelling to other regions of Ukraine will be required, based on security situation. Proficiency in English and Ukrainian (verbal/written) is required.
