Supply Chain Team Leader

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.

DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.

DRC is currently looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader in Barvinkove.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Manage and oversee procurement and tender processes at Base level, ensuring compliance with DRC procedures, Ukrainian legislation and donor requirements.
• Ensure effective supplier and contractor management, including supplier portfolio development, contract management and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ensure proper procurement documentation, e-filing and reporting, including complete and audit-compliant records of procurement and tender processes.
• Coordinate supply chain operations at Base level, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, issuing and delivering goods.
• Manage warehouse and stock operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, proper storage, stock movements, physical inventory control and disposal procedures.
• Ensure effective fixed assets and equipment management, including tagging, registration, issuance, return, tracking, physical verification and disposal.
• Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, utilization, driver management, scheduling, registration, insurance and compliance with safety requirements.
• Manage fuel and generator operations, monitoring fuel consumption, generator performance and overall efficiency.
• Ensure timely and appropriate response to fleet incidents and emergencies, including accidents, breakdowns and other vehicle-related incidents, in line with DRC procedures.
• Prepare and submit supply chain, procurement, fleet, asset and inventory reports and analysis, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Lead and manage the Supply Chain team, including recruitment, performance management, staff development, training and capacity building.
• Ensure compliance, transparency, cost efficiency and anti-corruption standards across all Supply Chain activities, and provide effective logistics support to programmes throughout the programme cycle.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 3 years of experience in logistics or procurement, including at least 1 year of team management experience. Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

• Diploma or relevant certification in Supply Chain Management, Foreign economic activity, Logistics or related field.
• Familiarity with procurement and logistics principles and processes.
• Basic understanding of inventory management practices.
• Fluency in Ukrainian.
• Confident user in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Desirable

• English will be advantage.

We offer

• Contract length: 3-month probationary period, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and funding.
• Band: G-manager.
• Designation of Duty Station: Barvinkove.
• Start date: October/November 2026.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for employees on national contracts; starting from EUR 2 373 gross per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
