The UN Global Compact is an initiative that was launched in 1999 by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, with a mission for businesses and the UN to collaborate, and encourage companies worldwide to embrace social responsibility and sustainable practices. Operating out of New York City, the Foundation for the Global Compact is a non- profit organization founded in 2006 that supports the operations of the UN Global Compact initiative, alongside our UN and Country Network colleagues across the globe. Today, we support over 25,000 businesses worldwide with their sustainability initiatives through our programming which spans a broad range of topics across Environment, Social, and Governance.
This position will report directly to the Head of Accounting and Finance and be responsible for optimizing Salesforce and other digital platforms to improve collections and processing of payments. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Salesforce, ability to reconcile data to various platforms and proven track record of leading implementation processes under minimal supervision. UN Global Compact has significantly grown over the past three years and the ideal candidate for this role must be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable in a fast -paced environment.
