Job Description
  1. Context
    Relief International (RI) specializes in relief and development programs that benefit people in acute distress. A registered non-profit in the US, UK, France and Belgium, our work targets those fragile countries or communities that suffer from recurrent man-made or natural crises that impede human development. The people that we serve live in seventeen countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia where the debilitating effects of political instability, forced displacement, and natural disasters are pervasive. Often, RI is the only organization providing healthcare, education, logistics, energy, capacity building, economic development, sanitation, and many other forms of assistance to these highly vulnerable communities.
    Relief International (RI) has been working in Turkey since 2013. Currently, RI implements activities in 5 provinces across Turkey, providing specialized health service delivery for refugees, focusing on mental health and psychosocial support services (MHPSS), physiotherapy, prosthesis & orthotics, community health and livelihoods support.

  2. Job Profile
    Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer, the Enumerator will be responsible for data collection with beneficiaries residing in Istanbul, Hatay, and Gaziantep.
    The purpose of this assignment is to conduct Post Distribution/Post-Service Monitoring (PDM/PSM) to follow up with beneficiaries who received services or assistive devices and assess the quality and impact of
    the support provided.
    The Enumerator will be trained on using the Logalto Collect mobile data collection platform and the questionnaire before starting the assignment. The
    Enumerator is expected to conduct phone interviews with specific
    beneficiaries identified in the sample prepared by RI.

  3. Key Responsibilities:
    - Interview refugees and the host community through the follow-up survey
    developed by RI.
    - Conduct interviews through phone calls from the RI office. - Record and submit the data on the Log alto platform daily.
    - Share the daily report on the progress of the evaluation. - Conduct Focus group discussions (FGD) if needed.
  4. Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Fluency in both Arabic and Turkish is required (written and spoken); working knowledge of
    English is an asset;
    • Diploma in a social science or related field preferred.
    • Experience with surveys, customer service, and mobile data collection is an asset;
    • Excellent communication skills, high-level professionalism, and courtesy;
    • Good contextual knowledge of local issues, community priorities, social and cultural realities;
    • Familiarity with the targeted districts and locations;
    • Turkish Nationality required;
