The Role The Accountant will support the effective operational management of financial and grants-related data for the Africa Platform, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with organisational, donor and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Finance and Grants Manager, you will focus on transaction-level finance activities, budget monitoring, partner financial review support, and contribution to audit and compliance processes, while serving as a key point of support for finance systems, including D365.As a key member to the Business Operations team, you will: review all financial grant data in D365 for accuracy and completeness; ensure effective budget monitoring and reporting through variance analysis; support partner financial monitoring and capacity building; work with budget holders on project design and donor reporting; and support internal and external audit processes.
