The Genome Centre at icddr,b is a cutting-edge facility specializing in genomic research, pathogen surveillance, clinical and public health research. Using advanced sequencing technologies, the centre supports infectious disease surveillance, AMR research, outbreak response, and genomic capacity building. Importantly, the Genome Centre has expanded into cancer next-generation sequencing (NGS) testing to support personalized treatment for cancer patients by identifying clinically relevant mutations that can guide precision oncology decisions.
Position Description:
The Research Fellow will report to the Associate Scientist and will perform laboratory research, prepare research concepts and protocols, plan, organize, and implement research activities, and also write manuscripts to conduct high-quality lab research at the Genome Centre within the guidelines of the research protocol and organizational values.
