JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Account Manager, Principal Gifts provides high-level strategic and operational support to the Principal Gifts team at CARE, deepening the team's capacity to build transformational relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and anonymous donors. This role ensures that donor portfolios are managed with exceptional, bespoke service, communication is timely and tailored, and internal coordination reflects the highest standard of partnership. RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Donor Engagement Support Partner closely with Relationship Managers to deepen engagement with principal donors, aligned with their interests, giving history, and institutional priorities. Help develop tailored donor-facing communications and materials, ensuring content reflects principal donor interests and CARE's organizational voice. Proactively recommend engagement touchpoints that deepen donor relationships and advance gift conversations. Liaise with Prospect Research and Operations team members to ensure Relationship Manager has the necessary research and data to craft principal donor strategies. Partner with the Operations teams to maintain data integrity across the Principal Gifts portfolio through Salesforce CRM management — ensuring donor records, contact reports, and moves management activity are current, accurate, and accessible to the full team. Cross-Team Coordination and Special Projects Partner with the Operations Team to represent Principal Gifts priorities and champion process improvements across CRM and database workflows. Support principal donor-facing special projects and strategic initiatives — such as philanthropic advisor engagement, donor event strategy, and moves management progression — to enhance both donor engagement and team effectiveness.
