The consultant will support the promotion of enhanced digital customs solutions in ASYCUDA beneficiary countries, customized for the CEECA region.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the incumbent is expected to undertake the following duties: - Participate in the development of enhanced digital customs solutions - Interfacing new digital Customs Platform components - Enhance Develop digital functionalities for the Customs Decision Management System - Participate in the development of Automated Export System - Developing enhancements to E-Transit and E-Commerce digital customs tools - Provide assistance to ASYCUDA central team in testing, piloting, rollout, administration and maintenance of digital customs solutions, including remedial actions - Perform other technical tasks related to maintenance of operational ASYCUDA systems
Qualifications/special skills
A first university degree, Bachelor or equivalent in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area is required At least 7 years of work experience of work in ICT sector as front-end and back-end developer is required. Work experience in design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications and Java programming language is required. Work experience in development of governmental IT systems is required. Work experience of working with customs automation would be an advantage. Working in the transition economies region would be an advantage.
Languages
Fluency in oral and written in English is required. Knowledge of Russian is desirable
