Context

As part of the efforts to enhance the Talent Acquisition strategies of the UNV Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, this assignment seeks to broaden and diversify talent sources in Brazil, promoting greater territorial representation and equitable access to opportunities across the country. In many cases, vacancy dissemination processes tend to be concentrated in major urban centers or within well-established professional networks, which may limit access for potential candidates from prioritized municipalities or territories with lower visibility in traditional recruitment channels. In this context, it is essential to identify and strengthen linkages with local institutions, professional networks, and community organizations that can serve as strategic channels to expand the reach of opportunities. To support this objective, UNV is seeking the support of a volunteer to contribute to the territorial mapping of relevant networks and institutions in prioritized municipalities in Brazil, with the goal of identifying talent sources and alternative channels for opportunity dissemination.

Task Description

The purpose of this assignment is to support the Talent Acquisition team of the UNV Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean in identifying and analyzing local networks and talent sources in prioritized municipalities across Brazil, with the aim of strengthening territorial outreach and expanding the geographical diversity of candidates. The selected volunteer will conduct a territorial mapping of relevant actors and institutions, including universities, technical institutions, community organizations, professional associations, sectoral networks, non-governmental organizations, women’s networks, and digital communities active in the prioritized territories. The work will focus on identifying spaces and networks where potential talent is concentrated, as well as local channels that can facilitate the dissemination of opportunities at the territorial level.
