Task Description
The purpose of this assignment is to support the UNV Talent Acquisition team in reviewing and updating the existing database of talent networks and outreach channels in the assigned country. The selected volunteer will work with a pre-existing database provided by UNV and will conduct desk research to verify, update, and complement the information. Tasks will include: - Reviewing the existing database of universities, organizations, and professional networks. - Verifying the accuracy of contact details and institutional information. - Updating outdated or missing information (websites, emails, contact points, etc.). - Identifying additional relevant institutions or networks that may serve as outreach channels. - Expanding the database to include networks representing underrepresented groups when relevant (e.g. OPDs, indigenous networks, women’s networks, youth organizations). - Organizing and systematizing the updated information using the template provided by UNV. The volunteer will focus on institutions and networks that can serve as potential dissemination channels for UN Volunteer opportunities, including universities, professional associations, NGOs, community organizations, and digital professional networks.Competencies and values
