Secure. Scalable. Cloud-First.

Are you excited by designing secure, high-performance cloud networks at enterprise scale? Do you enjoy working across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, enabling developers while keeping security and resilience front and centre?

We’re looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to help shape and run the network foundations of our cloud platform — with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, enterprise connectivity, and perimeter security. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your designs directly enable product teams to move fast without compromising safety or stability.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud network services that underpin our wider platform and application estate. Day to day, you’ll:

  • Design and support secure, scalable Azure network architectures across landing zones, subscriptions, and tenants
  • Enable hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, including peering and enterprise integration
  • Deliver a “golden path” for developers, balancing security, usability, and velocity
  • Implement strong network segregation using VNets, NSGs, routing, and security appliances
  • Own and improve perimeter and edge services, including:
    • Web Application Firewalls (SaaS, on-prem, and Azure-native)
    • DDoS protection
    • SSL VPNs
    • Load balancing, including Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
  • Work with firewalls and threat-prevention platforms (Microsoft, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco)
  • Support identity and access flows where they intersect with network design
  • Collaborate closely with managed service providers and professional service partners
  • Design with non-functional requirements in mind: security, availability, scalability, and performance

What we’re looking for

You’re a networking professional who’s comfortable operating in modern cloud-first environments, with a solid grounding in enterprise networking principles.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud network technologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking
  • Experience working in hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments
  • A solid understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals (routing, switching, security)
  • Experience working alongside managed service providers or delivery partners
  • A security-first mindset, with practical experience across perimeter and network security services

Certifications (or working towards):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (or equivalent)
  • Cisco CCNP or similar enterprise networking certification
  • ITIL Foundation (or basic service management knowledge)

Why join us?

  • Design and operate enterprise-scale cloud networks with real business impact
  • Influence cloud-first network strategy, not just day-to-day operations
  • Work in a role that blends deep technical hands-on work with architecture and design
  • Collaborate with skilled engineers, platform teams, and security specialists
  • Help build secure foundations that enable teams to move faster and safer

If you’re passionate about cloud networking, security, and building platforms that scale, we’d love to hear from you.
