Job Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer.

The Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and evolving Microsoft 365 productivity and cloud services for WWF-US and its Country Offices. This position combines deep technical expertise with strong cultural and linguistic fluency, providing regionally aligned support while contributing to global standards, governance, and continuous improvement.

Location: to work for WWF-US managed country offices, candidates must be based in for following eligible locations: Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Guyana.

Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Productivity & Collaboration

  • Support and optimize administration of Microsoft 365 productivity services, including:

    • Microsoft Teams and Teams Admin Center

    • OneDrive, SharePoint, and their respective Admin Centers

  • Help provide or design solutions for staff or program workflows utilizing advanced Microsoft tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Partner with regional teams to improve adoption and effective use of collaboration tools

  • Provide localized guidance and support in English and Spanish

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus

User Account & Identity Management

  • Work with role assignments and access permissions in alignment with least-privilege principles along with advanced user, user principal, and Entra App / Enterprise App integrations and permissions.

  • Support on-going and new conditional access policies and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) in alignment with least-privilege principles.

  • Manage M365, Security, Dynamic, and Distribution groups (ideally through both Web UI and PowerShell / MS Graph)

  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and role-change processes for staff, contractors, and partners

  • Coordinate with US IT teams to ensure timely and accurate identity lifecycle management

  • Assist with access reviews, audits, and remediation activities

Regional Support & Global Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted technical partner to Country Office leadership and staff

  • Provide time-zone-aligned support to regional users, improving responsiveness and service quality

  • Collaborate closely with U.S.-based IT teams to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture and standards

  • Escalate systemic issues and contribute regional insights to global improvement efforts

Operations, Resilience & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor service health and proactively identify risks or degradation

  • Participate in incident response and business continuity planning, contributing to “follow-the-sun” support models

  • Maintain clear operational documentation and knowledge base content in English and Spanish

  • Evaluate new Microsoft 365 features and provide input on regional readiness and impact

  • Perform work duties after-hours, on weekends, or holidays as needed from time to time because of unexpected critical outages or issues and planned maintenance windows.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Possesses expertise in M365 Productivity and Identity platforms.

  • Demonstrates a strong growth mindset, continually expanding expertise in evolving cloud, automation, and security technologies and applying new knowledge to strengthen WWF’s technical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A degree IT or related field HIGHLY preferred.

  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience supporting Microsoft 365 productivity services in an enterprise environment:

    • Administering Microsoft Teams in a production M365 tenant, including
      • Managing team creation, naming policies, and lifecycle controls
      • Configuring Teams settings for external and guest access
    • Administering SharePoint Online sites (team sites, communication sites)
      • Managing permissions using groups and role-based access
      • Supporting site creation, ownership, and lifecycle management
      • Troubleshooting access, inheritance, and permission issues
      • Working within a modern, flat hub site or multi-site architecture
      • Document libraries, lists, and metadata
      • Versioning, check-in/check-out, and content organization
      • Collaboration workflows between SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
      • Basic understanding of information architecture and site usability
      • Supporting business teams without over-customizing the platform
    • Hands-on user and identity management experience, including:
      • Provisioning and deprovisioning users, service accounts, and guest accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD)
      • Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and role assignments
      • Troubleshooting authentication and access issues
      • Coordinating identity-related work with US IT and Security teams
      • Performing access reviews and remediating inappropriate access
    • Experience working in a global or multi-country organization strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to support users across different cultures, regions, and technical maturity levels
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and training materials
    • Mission-driven mindset with sensitivity to diverse cultural and operating environments
    • Strong customer-service orientation and collaborative working style
    • Ability to balance global standards with local needs
    • Comfortable working independently while contributing to distributed global teams.
