Role Overview

The ETC – Endpoint Management supports the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise endpoint management solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune for iOS, Android, and macOS platforms. Under supervision, the role contributes to the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of mobile and desktop devices across the organization, ensuring secure, compliant, and cost-effective IT environments. The role also supports print infrastructure and collaborates with cross-functional teams to address integration challenges, enhance connectivity, and maintain reliability across diverse deployment models. The engineer contributes to automation and self service principles as well as operates within an Agile delivery framework aligned to SAFe principles.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint Management & Mobile Device Management (MDM)

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune policies for iOS, Android, and macOS devices, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

• Enroll, configure, and maintain corporate and BYOD devices across all supported platforms, including application deployment, conditional access policies, and device compliance baselines.
• Troubleshoot device enrollment, configuration profile, and policy assignment issues across iOS, Android, and macOS endpoints.
• Maintain and update endpoint configurations to align with evolving security requirements and platform OS updates.
  
  Print Infrastructure Support
  
  
• Support the administration and maintenance of enterprise print environments, including print server management, driver deployment via Intune, and printer policy configuration.
• Assist in troubleshooting printing issues across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, ensuring seamless print connectivity for end users.
• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of cloud-based printing solutions integrated with the existing MDM ecosystem.
  
  Infrastructure Design and Implementation
  
  
• Assist in developing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments to improve system performance and reliability, including operating system maintenance and backup processes.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to define network, storage, compute, and connectivity requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
• Contribute to infrastructure design reviews by validating adherence to best practices and assisting with documentation for automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  
  Continuous Monitoring and Improvement
  
  
• Monitor device compliance, endpoint health, and Intune policy effectiveness, assisting with troubleshooting to maintain uptime and operational reliability.
• Help evaluate and integrate new technologies to optimize endpoint management capabilities and support cost efficiency.
• Participate in regular infrastructure assessments to identify areas for improvement, ensuring endpoint security posture and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.
  
  Security Controls Embedded in Infrastructure
  
  
• Support collaboration with security teams to implement and maintain secure device configurations, encryption, and compliance measures across endpoint infrastructure components.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation activities, contributing to a secure and resilient IT environment.
• Help validate HA and DR plans to ensure alignment with security and continuity requirements.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor's Degree in IT with at least 1 year of related work experience).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune managing iOS, Android, and macOS device fleets in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise print infrastructure administration and cloud print solutions is required.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Intune and endpoint operating systems (iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows), demonstrating strong expertise in device and platform management.
• Skilled in cloud computing, networking, and configuration management, enabling effective deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise IT environments.
• Experienced in implementing and supporting security control frameworks and print infrastructure/cloud print services to ensure secure and reliable IT operations.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies (SAFe) and project support, contributing effectively to project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts, with the ability to apply and support modern technology solutions.
• Demonstrates business competencies including sense of urgency, thoughtful risk-taking, empowerment, accountability, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  
  Recommended Certifications
• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or similar (preferred)
• Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent macOS management credential (preferred)
• SAFe Practitioner (SP) (preferred)
• SAFe for Teams or higher SAFe certification (preferred)
• Cloud Network Engineering Certification (AWS / Azure / GCP / OCI) (advantageous)
• Operating Systems Certification (Windows / Linux / VMware) (advantageous)
• Network Certifications (Cisco) (advantageous)
