We are looking for an analytical, result-driven development effectiveness officer working under the supervision of the Managing Director of Development Effectiveness.
The Office of Development Effectiveness (DVF) is in charge of the design and implementation of the IDB Invest’s Impact Management Framework. It establishes, implements, and coordinates compliance with evaluation standards at each stage of a project’s life cycle (origination, preparation, implementation, and evaluation). DVF ensures both accountability and learning for the benefit of our clients, partners, and beneficiaries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, it defines operational recommendations and is responsible for corporate reporting and cooperation with other MDBs on development effectiveness matters. DVF manages various tools such as ex-ante and ex-post cost-benefit analysis, the Development Effectiveness Learning Tracking and Assessment Tool (DELTA), the Annual Supervision Report (ASR), the Expanded Supervision Reports (XSR), and in-depth and impact evaluations.
Education: You hold a master’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, Public Policy or related field for the officer position.
