As part of WFP Sudan’s emergency response, communication materials need to be translated swiftly and accurately between English and Arabic. This includes press releases, social media content, field reports, human-interest stories, advocacy materials, and fact sheets used to inform the public and partners, and counter misinformation.Task Description
We are seeking 5 Online Volunteers, grouped as follows: Group A – Arabic to English Translators (4 volunteers) Translate 5 social media posts per week, 5 beneficiary interviews and 5 reports from Arabic into English. Translate donor materials such as 5 press releases, and 5 progress reports Group B – Proofread the translated materials, (1 volunteer) Ensure translations are accurate, contextualized, and culturally appropriate. Simplify technical content for public readability while retaining accuracy.Competencies and values
