Description
2. Create and govern enterprise data models including conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures that ensure consistency and interoperability across the organization. 4. Lead the development of synthetic data generation frameworks to enable privacy-preserving testing, AI/ML model training, and secure third-party data sharing. 2. Support EA repository management activities to enable effective documentation, analysis, and reporting of data architecture assets and their relationships. 4. Lead technology rationalization efforts for data platforms to optimize the enterprise data landscape and reduce technical debt. 2. Collaborate on enterprise data quality frameworks, providing architectural guidance for monitoring, profiling, and remediation capabilities. 4. Support data lifecycle management initiatives including retention policies, archiving strategies, and cost-optimized storage architectures. 2. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate data architectural approaches and emerging technologies for enterprise adoption. 4. Guide solution architects and development teams in applying enterprise data architecture principles, patterns, and standards.
Selection Criteria
• Enterprise Architecture certification required (TOGAF, EACOE, or equivalent issued by The Open Group). • Cloud certification is a plus (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP equivalent). • Develop innovative data solutions with measurable business impact and clear value articulation • Drive consensus on data architecture decisions through stakeholder engagement and influence • Build trusted partnerships between strategic architecture and operational data teams • Contribute strategic insights to enterprise data transformation initiatives • Champion emerging data technologies and architectural best practices • Identify strategic data investments and initiatives that drive organizational value • Evaluate emerging data technologies for strategic advantage • Mentor solution architects, data engineers, and technical teams on data architecture principles • Contribute to data architecture body of knowledge through publications, presentations, and community engagement • Data Architecture Knowledge: Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, data integration patterns, master data management, and modern data platform architectures. Ability to create and govern data standards and guidelines. • Broad Business Thinking: Understand long-term implications of data architecture decisions for business operations. Create business cases for data investments and ensure stakeholder alignment. • Knowledge of Emerging Technology: Evaluate emerging data technologies and determine impacts on current data architecture and infrastructure. Lead technology pilots and proof-of-concepts. • Systems Thinking: Understand relationships between data, business processes, applications, and technology platforms. Design integrated solutions that optimize the whole system.
