By its role and function, the incumbent will contribute to the overall goal of WHO's presence in Solomon Islands which is ensuring a functional health care system capable of delivering responsive quality services that are accessible, affordable, and equitable for all population in the country.
The incumbent is expected to perform all or most of the following duties:
Essential: Completion of secondary or high school.
Desirable: Training in office administration.
Essential: Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience in general office or administrative support functions, including substantial experience in providing support for finance-related activities and processes.
Desirable: Administrative experience working in an international organization, requiring frequent interaction with high level government, executive and other officials. Knowledge of WHO administrative procedures and practices.

Essential: Excellent written and spoken English and local language.
WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at SBD 136,119 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
