This assignment supports PCCP’s efforts to strengthen its internal data systems and training infrastructure. The work contributes to improving evidence-based decision-making, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting better data governance and digital transformation within UNODC-supported programmes.Task Description
The Online Volunteers will support PCCP in strengthening its training and data management systems through research, analysis, and documentation. The assignment will focus on two complementary areas: IT solution development support and data management analysis. The Online Volunteers will work under the supervision of PCCP staff and will contribute in an advisory and supportive capacity only. Tasks will include: - Conduct a desk-based needs assessment (2 pages) for a potential IT platform supporting PCCP’s training and capacity-building functions. - Review existing materials on training curricula, planning processes, evaluation systems, and expert/trainer management. - Identify gaps, requirements, and key considerations for system development. - Support analysis of technical and functional requirements, including interoperability considerations with UNODC systems. - Develop high-level recommendations for system improvement based on desk review. Deliverables: - A two-pages-long needs assessment document for the establishment of an IT platform solution to the PCCP’s training and capacity building approach, including the training curriculum, training planning and organization, assessments, evaluations, trainers/experts pool, and reports. - A five-pages-long report with recommendations advising PCCP management on an IT platform solution for PCCP’s training and capacity building approach, including the training curriculum, training planning and organization, assessments, evaluations, trainers/experts pool, and reports. Coordination and logistics Work will be conducted remotely with periodic virtual check-ins with PCCP focal points.Competencies and values
