We manage operations in Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Haiti, working alongside communities to address the root causes of hunger and strengthen resilience.
We are seeking a Communications Associate to support content development, storytelling, knowledge management, and communications coordination within our External Relations team.
About the Role
The Communications Associate will support Action Against Hunger’s communications strategy by helping develop written content, maintain key communications tools, and support internal coordination across the Communications team.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Communications, this role will assist with writing, editing, website content, media monitoring, presentations, team knowledge management, and project coordination. The Communications Associate will help create and organize communications materials that increase brand visibility, support public engagement, and highlight Action Against Hunger’s humanitarian work.
This role is ideal for an early-career communications professional with strong writing and editing skills, interest in humanitarian issues, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
