International DevelopmentContext
timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation is a pan-African innovation initiative anchored in UNDP's Regional Bureau for Africa, supporting African founders to start, grow, and scale. The Foundation is developing the Investor Readiness Index (IRI) — a diagnostic tool designed to assess the readiness of enrolled startups across key institutional dimensions. The IRI will be available to founders via the Foundation's web platform (timbuktooafrica.org) and used by the programme team to evaluate and support startups across the timbuktoo portfolio. A core component of the IRI is a structured 60-question survey organised across seven thematic sections. Before backend scoring logic can be integrated, the survey needs to be built as a clean, functional front-end form — properly structured, mobile-responsive, and navigable across sections.Task Description
We are looking for two online volunteers to support the front-end development of the IRI survey form. The online volunteers will build the HTML and CSS structure of the 60-question survey across its seven sections as a functional, mobile-responsive web form. The form will: - Display all 60 questions organised across seven clearly labelled sections, as specified in the question list provided by the Foundation - Support multiple question types — multiple choice, Likert scale, and short text input - Be navigable across sections with a visible progress indicator - Be mobile-responsive and render correctly on both desktop and mobile screen sizes - Be delivered as clean, well-commented HTML/CSS source code ready for backend integration by the Foundation's development team - The output of this assignment is one completed, mobile-responsive front-end HTML/CSS survey form — covering all 60 questions across seven sections — delivered as commented source code files to the Foundation's technical team within the agreed timeline.Competencies and values
