About the Hiring GroupRTI’s Center for Education, Communications, and Training (CECT) has an opening for a Research Education Analyst. This is a contingent hire position for a proposal to the U.S. Department of Labor: Growing Quality Registered Apprenticeship Programs through Industry Intermediaries. This project aims to increase the footprint of apprenticeship. The Apprenticeships Technical Assistance and Data Specialist will lead Task 2 Outreach and Recruitment, which involves the development and delivery of outreach activities as well as tracking, and reporting of registered apprenticeship data. This specialist will also provide rigorous and intensive coaching to assist employers in joining established programs, or developing and implementing their own programs. This position can be based in any of RTI’s U.S. offices or remote from anywhere within the U.S. What You'll DoServe as Task Leader for Registered Apprenticeship projects, including industry intermediaries. Tasks can include sponsor/employer recruitment and outreach and technical assistance to sponsors/employers.Provide intensive technical assistance to entities in 10+ states.Manage the reporting and documentation of activities and outcomes in customer’s Salesforce environment to input apprenticeship data.Represent RTI and the projects to senior leadership at state agencies, local agencies, national organizations and associations, and corporations.Provide expert-level Registered Apprenticeship knowledge and understanding across the project.Create scientific stature opportunities through presenting at conferences and publishing blogs and other media.Mentor staff in understanding the nuances of the apprenticeship system.Contribute to proposals related to apprenticeship and workforce development.Collaborate with partners including other DOL-funded intermediaries, organizations, and policy organizations. What You'll NeedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors’ degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience.At least one year of experience working for a state apprenticeship agency.Experience reporting apprenticeship data through the U.S. Department of Labor’s reporting systems.Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to Registered Apprenticeship (RA).Expertise with RA system, including but not limited to, §29 CFR part 29, scaling RA nationally, building high quality career pathways to RA, convening stakeholders, improving processes, and developing partnership strategies.To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status, etc.). Preferred Qualifications:Excellent knowledge of Salesforce as it is used to report on apprenticeship outcomes, per the practices of DOL.Ability to learn new technologies and systems, such as DOL’s RAPIDS system.Ability to communicate about apprenticeship, registration of apprenticeship programs, and the nuances of the workforce development system.Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel.Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines.Ability to work well with others.Ability to work independently and to be self-directed as appropriate.Attention to detail and accuracy.Leverage understanding of apprenticeship to support TA development, delivery, and reporting.Employs digital agility and problem solving.Ability to follow standard operating procedures in accordance with DOL Salesforce practices.Ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues around reporting both orally and in writing.
