Introduction

Description of the Assignment: This TOR is for an Environmental Policy Specialist under the UNDP BIOFIN project in Bahrain. The consultant will lead the Policy and Institutional Review (PIR), provide inputs for the Biodiversity Finance Plan, and support stakeholder consultations, validation workshops, and coordination with national institutions. The assignment will be delivered remotely.

Period of assignment/services: 75 working days, spread over a period of approximately 12 months.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
