The Position:
The Gender and SRH Analyst is located in the China Country Office (CO) and reports to the Representative. This position supports policy analysis and the design, implementation, and monitoring of gender and SRH programmes in line with national priorities, contributing to the advancement of the ICPD Agenda and Agenda 2030. The role provides support to strategic analysis, knowledge generation, policy advocacy, and partnership development. The Analyst also supports South–South cooperation opportunities and monitoring, advocacy, and resource mobilization efforts.

Job Purpose:
The Gender and SRH Analyst supports the design and planning of gender and SRH components of UNFPA’s country programme under the guidance of the Representative. S/he supports analysis of relevant political, social and economic trends and assists in providing inputs to contribute to gender and SRH-related policy and project formulation and implementation, and joint programming initiatives. S/he assists with gender and SRH partnerships and supports monitoring of results achieved.

Advanced university degree in gender studies, public health, public policy, demography and/or other related social science field.
