Mission and objectives
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 and committed to maintaining international peace and security; developing friendly relations among nations; promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights. Due to its unique international character, and the powers vested in its founding Charter, the Organization takes action on a wide range of issues, and provides a forum for its 193 Member States to express their views, through the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council and other bodies and committees. The OHCHR Geneva Team has scheduled an induction session for newly elected CAT members. This meeting will require simultaneous interpretation in both English and French for the entire duration of the session.Task Description
We are looking for three online volunteers to support with interpretation remotely during one session of our online event for French to English and English to French on 31 March 2026, from 14:00 to 17:30 (UTC+1).Competencies and values
