THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE (EXD)
The Executive Directorate (EXD) is the steward of OECD resources, on behalf of the Secretary-General. Our focus is on people and their wellbeing; the effective and efficient management of the budget; the safety and security of staff, Delegations, visitors, and of the OECD’s data; maintaining and sustaining physical and digital infrastructure; and enabling the convening power of the OECD through conferences, meetings and events. As well as providing corporate services, functions and management support to our staff and Members, we provide integrated, strategic and expert advice on corporate policies and management issues to the Secretary-General, to Council and to Standing Committees, to which we regularly report on corporate matters. We also provide risk management functions (for management areas under our purview). Ours is a fast-paced environment focused on delivering management excellence across all our functions.
THE CONFERENCE, SECURITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE (EXD/CSI)
The Conference, Security and Infrastructure Service (EXD/CSI) delivers essential corporate services that ensure the Organisation’s smooth day-to-day operations. Its services include conference management; translation and interpretation; security and infrastructure maintenance; facility services and the management of safe and sustainable workspaces.
THE POSITION
EXD/CSI is looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking senior leader to take on the role of Head of the Building Infrastructure Division (EXD/CSI/BID) reporting directly to the Head of Service EXD/CSI. This person will manage a diverse team of around 25 staff and a multi-million-euro budget to deliver diverse facilities management services such as the maintenance of owned and leased buildings and office space planning. S/he will be responsible for a strategic approach to the overall facilities management, including innovative approaches to ensure maximisation of the workplace environment, currently covering a combined surface area of approx. 100,000 m² and around 4,000 workstations at the main La Muette and Boulogne sites as well as locations abroad.

Contract Duration
Please note that our Rules and Regulations stipulate that the mandatory retirement age is 67.

Selection Process
All applications are screened based on the criteria for the position. For retained candidates, written and video assessments are foreseen in March, and panel interviews in April 2026 (calendar may be subject to change).
