Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Non-Technical Survey (NTS) Operator for our operations in our Shire Field Office.
Overall purpose of the role
In June 2024 DRC launched a humanitarian mine action programme, initially composed of NTS and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) in Northwest and Central Zone in Tigray, Ethiopia. DRC is therefore looking for a dedicated NTS Operator to support the launch and implementation of a new project strarted in January 2026.
The overall role of the NTS Operator is to conduct community-level survey activities in different community settings to identify and assess the impact of explosive ordnance on women, girls, boys and men in the target areas.
