As a Governance, Peace, and Resilience Intern, he/she will work on two research assignments that contribute directly to UN Women’s broader normative and programmatic work. The first research focuses on supporting the finalization of the National Gender Machinery of the Republic of Indonesia document, including mapping institutional roles, policies, and partners across key thematic areas. The second research examines national models for engaging men and boys in gender equality, including programmatic approaches, training modules, and intervention strategies developed by organizations working on positive masculinities and male engagement.
Through this internship, the selected candidate will gain deeper insight into UN Women’s programmatic approaches, gender-responsive governance mechanisms, and national gender equality efforts in Indonesia.
