We’re looking for dedicated Team Leaders who will drive high performing teams to provide trauma-informed and person-centred support to victim survivors of intimate partner violence.

A place to make a difference:

In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll lead a team of Individual Support Specialists and Individual Support Workers to deliver the Leaving Violence Payments program nationally. Working from home between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm (WST)* Monday to Friday, you’ll report to our Service Manager. This role is a WA position. Only WA residents will be considered for this role.

You will make a difference by:

  • Providing guidance, support and leadership to our team of practitioners, including coaching and performance management
  • Working collaboratively with the other Team Leaders to oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and adjusting resource allocations as needed to optimise service delivery
  • Being the first point of escalation for approvals, service queries, and operational challenges
  • Maintaining a strong focus on service quality, victim-survivor outcomes, and adherence to best practices

This role requires:

  • Three-year Bachelor’s degree in social work, Counselling, Community Services, Psychology or related field
  • Professional registration with any of the following governing bodies – ACA, PACFA, AASW or AHPRA
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in a leadership role in health, community, social services, or other relevant sectors – ideally focusing on family, domestic and sexual violence
  • Experience in enhanced risk and needs assessment and safety planning
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a high performing team to achieve collective goals, program and client outcomes
