Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Humanitarian Mine Action Supervisor (NTS/EORE Supervisor) in Sumy, Ukraine.
About the job
Under the direct supervision of the Humanitarian Mine Action Technical Field Manager (TFM), the Humanitarian Mine Action Supervisor (NTS/EORE Supervisor) will be responsible for the effective management, technical oversight, and implementation of Non-Technical Survey (NTS) and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) activities in their Area of Operations. The role involves significant team management, quality assurance, coordination, and community engagement

About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have minimum 3 years of experience in a humanitarian organization, including at least 1 year in team management, strong technical knowledge in NTS and EORE, combined with proven leadership abilities. Moreover, we also expect the following:

We offer
Contract length: 12 months renewable depending on performance and funding. Preliminary 3-month probation period.

Designation of Duty Station: Sumy, Ukraine
Start date: January 2026.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National Staff.
