ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Ford Foundation’s Information Technology team seeks an Audio/Video (AV) Support Specialist to perform technical and administrative tasks within the AV Services team. We're looking for someone organized and proactive who enjoys being the go-to person for coordination, planning, and ensuring all the administrative pieces run smoothly within the AV services team and effectively collaborates with our Events, Facilities, and Operations partners.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Coordinate scheduling for a team of at least eight A/V technicians for various events and meetings, and adjusts schedules as requirements change are communicated
Maintain the Momentus Priava application with accurate and timely schedule updates based on meeting purposes and communicates schedules
Support the Senior Manager, Audio Video Services, to source and contract freelancers for upcoming A/V events/meetings.
Receive and process all meeting services forms/requests related to A/V incidents and requests.
Enter and maintain contracts in Workday Financials; reconciles and submits A/V-related vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely interface with Finance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
3 - 5 years of administrative support experience in a dynamic and complex environment and at least 2 years of technical knowledge of products within assigned support portfolio (e.g., G-Drive, Google applications, MS Office, Fluxx, Workday, CRM)
Proven exceptional customer service with all levels of organizational staff.
Experienced in attention to detail and organizational acumen to meet critical deadlines while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude.
Proactive with a positive "can-do" attitude to achieve the highest level of staff satisfaction and exceed staff expectations.
Demonstrates reliability by consistently showing up prepared and on time, while remaining flexible and adaptable to change
Ways of working and engaging that aligns with the foundation’s mission, core values, and commitment to creating a culture of excellence
Baccalaureate degree in related field or relevant and equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily a sedentary role. However, the person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with internal staff, access files, office machinery, and a copy machine/printer.

SALARY: The Ford Foundation is committed to practicing salary transparency. The minimum starting salary for this position is $96,000 and the maximum is $105,000. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of this range. The final offer is determined by a candidate’s relevant experience and our commitment to internal equity. We review global compensation on a regular basis to ensure market competitiveness and equity. The hiring range for this position has been carefully crafted in alignment with the market.
LOCATION: This position is based in the foundation’s New York office. We operate in a hybrid model and require staff to be in the office three days per week.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: This is a permanent position.
