In the context of the new IDB’s institutional strategy and in alignment with the objectives of IDBImpact+, as well as the expended responsibilities and functions of the Vice Presidency for Countries and Regional Integration and its regional departments, the Department Central America, Haiti, Mexico, Panama and Dominican Republic (CID/CID) is seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Communications Senior Specialist.
This role aims to enhance the Department´s visibility, deepen stakeholder engagement, and lead strategic communications efforts. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating organizational priorities into impactful communication strategies that enhance the organization's influence and reputation at countries and regional levels.
In close collaboration with the Vice Presidency for Countries and Regional Integration (VPC/VPC), the Communications Division (EXC/DCC), other regional managers, and country teams, this role will require a high level of creativity, strategic vision, and adaptability to drive effective messaging across diverse audiences in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
The Regional Communications Sr. Specialist will report to the Regional Manager of the CID Department and VPC/VPC Sr Communications Coordinator.

International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
